The project was implemented from May 2020 to March 2021. The project focus was on a total of six (6) wards, focus being public places like Markets, Churches, Beaches etc., this was to minimize the spread of covid-19. The project covered Manyatta A and B, Nyalenda A and B, Kolwa East and Central. The main objective was to improve access to safe water and sanitation facilities in the public places hence reducing the spread of Covid-19 and Promotion of Personal Hygiene. Achievements:Each market place benefitted from two 50 cubic meter tanks and hand washing soap.Improved health status to the vulnerability Community members and reduced spread of Water borne diseases. Reduced spread of Covid-19.
